LIUBA’s refugees video success at international film festivals

I am very happy to announce that my just finished video work about and with refugees, YOU’RE OUT, based on the homonymous performance held in Berlin, have already had an excellent international reception:

– it has been invited to the EUROPEAN SHORT FILM FESTIVAL in Berlin,
where it will be officially presented and screened at Babylon Cinema
on wednesday october 5 at 6 pm

– it has been declared winner as Best Experimental Film at the CANADIAN DIVERSITY FILM FESTIVAL in Toronto

The previous video of this project, Refugees Welcome, taken from the homonymous performance,has received the award for Best Film / Video at the Fine Arts Disciplines at theINTERNATIONAL BLACK FILM FESTIVAL in Berlin, where it has been presented a few months ago

and it has just won the ARFF Globe Award at’ AROUND INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL, with events scheduled on the following dates:

All this makes me very happy, mostly because these works were made with much love, devotion and dedication.

I created those videos in two different versions, slightly different: there is a version for festivals, and a version for exhibitions and collectors, numbered and signed as my usual.
